Showing Appreciation for School Grants

Thanking benefactors for school grants is an important part of the process. When first awarded a grant, a short thank you is a good idea. This short thank you should simply state appreciation for the awarding of the grant money and a few brief lines reinforcing the project the grant money is to fund.

As the project goes along and the grant money is spent in completion of the project, a more in-depth thank you note would be appreciated by the grant donor. This more detailed thank you note would not only express appreciation for the funding, but would detail the benefits and advantages the school grant project is bringing to the school. The data and details do not need to be exhaustive because that was covered in the initial application process, but a summary of what was done in tandem with a note of appreciation is always a good idea.
