One of the first and most frequently asked questions when it comes to charter schools is "what are the charter school applicant requirements?'" The answer to that is simple: a completed application turned in before the cut-off date. That's it. Charter school applicant students are not obligated to produce grade transcripts, volunteer details or any such details beyond the basic application for admission to the school.
The basic application consists of the typical name, address, age, parent information and other basic information. Since charter schools are part of the public school system, they are not allowed to set restriction upon enrollment any more than traditional public schools are. Students are accepted regardless of ability, financial means or any other such requirements. Anyone who is a charter school applicant can be assured of a fair chance to be admitted to the school if there are openings.
