School Scholarships
Giving out scholarships is a way for many foundations and private citizens to help young people further their education and reach their goals. School scholarships can be general, simply requiring good grades of the student or they can be area specific, such as given to students who excel in speech or do excellent work in robotics. By providing these funds to students who excel, foundations and companies are investing in the future of their communities.
School scholarships can be funds to attend private schools or they can be funds for college education. In the case of charter schools, where tuition is not an issue, the scholarships given are for college education costs or sometimes they will cover internships and special projects.
